We present to you: '5x5', our first compilation as Strange Interactions.

A long-time coming, in the depths of '5x5' we asked five producers to respond to the prompt '5x5'.

I know what you're thinking. What the heck does that mean? To say we know answer would be a lie. Ambiguous and indeterminate in meaning, '5x5' is a phrase that originates from militating lingo used when describing clarity in radio signal. Though since we reject the institution of the military, we chose instead to consider how the character Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer uses it constantly as a response to the question "How are you?"

Still lacking clarity in the show, we knew we had to inject our own interpretation into the phrase. We chose to understand it, from her perspective, as "surviving amongst the chaos". And thus we asked our five producers to respond to the prompt of "surviving amongst the chaos", particularly insofar as it relates to the last few years of the pandemic.

The outcome is 5 emotive, hypnotising and quite different tracks that show the depth of talent of the artists.
